The problem

The official application is available, but your business details and supporting records need to be consistent before you submit them.

This is a fit when

  • • You are authorised to act for the business
  • • You can provide accurate legal and contact information
  • • You want practical help preparing the request

Call the boundary early

This is not the right engagement when

  • You want someone to guarantee issuance or timing
  • You cannot verify the business information being submitted
  • You are being asked to pay Hazina as though the number itself has a fee

What the scope contains

01Confirm the applicant and business record
02Check whether a number may already exist
03Prepare and review the required business information
04Guide submission through the official D&B route

Deliverables

  • • Existing-record check guidance
  • • Business information checklist
  • • Application data review with identified gaps
  • • Submission guidance and a handover record

Explicit exclusions

  • • Issuing or assigning a D‑U‑N‑S Number
  • • A guaranteed approval or turnaround time
  • • Representing Hazina as Dun & Bradstreet or a government agency
  • • Taking control of the applicant's D&B account credentials

How the work runs

Step 4

Submission handover

Application safeguards

  • • Use official Dun & Bradstreet channels
  • • Keep account credentials with the applicant
  • • Separate Hazina's assistance fee from the free D‑U‑N‑S Number request

Checks and handover

  • • Legal name and location checked for consistency
  • • Missing information identified before submission
  • • Applicant reviews the final details
  • • Submission route and next actions recorded

Important distinction

Only Dun & Bradstreet assigns D‑U‑N‑S Numbers. Hazina is an independent application-assistance provider and does not guarantee issuance or timing.

The standard D‑U‑N‑S Number request is free. Hazina's KSh 5,000 fee covers preparation and guidance only.

Questions

Questions about d‑u‑n‑s number application assistance

Why does Hazina charge if a D‑U‑N‑S Number is free?

Dun & Bradstreet states that requesting and receiving a D‑U‑N‑S Number is free. Hazina's separate KSh 5,000 fee covers application preparation and guidance only.

Can Hazina issue the number or guarantee approval?

No. Only Dun & Bradstreet assigns D‑U‑N‑S Numbers. Hazina cannot guarantee issuance, acceptance or a turnaround time.
